Report on the 2000 Acropolis WRC rally

June 11th / Day 3

Special Stage 13, Pavliani I, was another stage new to the event. The first car was due by 09:27am and we were off to the stage at 06:00am. Luckily the big Sunday crowds were to arrive quite a bit later than those early morning hours and we had time to not only find the perfect spot but also locate a second spot to which we moved after the first few cars had gone by and shoot some very interesting pictures. The cold was, however, quite intense in these early morning hours that high up in the Greek mountains. The morning light and contrast with the tree shadows enabled us to shoot some excellent pictures here.
